Union barrel Works – Reamstown, PA
We really like the bar at UBW and the food and beer are above average, but not consistent. For example, we have had the Round Boy Stout a few times but do not always like it – only sometimes. Same deal with the food – one time its really good and another it is overcooked (aka burnt…chicken fingers…burnt!). We rarely stop in at this place even thought its quite close to us.
The atmosphere is pretty much the only thing I like here – and its a shame for the business because its generally relaxed, quiet and not full. Still it is worth a visit for the old style, woody interior and slightly above average beers – you might get lucky and be there for a great batch of beer and food!

Not sure I ever had a good beer here. Some maybe not too bad, but nothing stands out. Tastes old and skunked sometimes. Food is almost not edible. Always a seat open at the bar though.
