This is a very cool place, huge on the inside and huge on the beers as they offer 67 draft beers!!! You have to love that! Many of the beers on tap are local PA micro brews, nice to see some local maker promotion and offerings. They also offer smaller glasses (maybe 5oz?) so you can sample a larger variety of beers! The food is also very good; award winning chili and salsa, great sandwiches and many many options.
The staff is excellent. There is a particular bartender that makes our trips complete! He is an extremely knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining! We definately look forward to going back and discussing beers and sampling his recommendations!
As for the layout of the building, I believe it was an old dance hall, very unique, open and roomy. The bar is a large U shape right in the back center. Off to one side there are pool tables, darts and other adult oriented games. The other side has tables and more of a dining area, most if not all having their own TV at the table. finally there is a second level with tables surrounding the perimeter, also with your own TV. this would be a good place to watch sports or just have a night out with any size group of friends.
They do offers growelers here so we got one filled with the beer of the month on our first trip. In the near future they plan to start making and selling their own beer, we are very interested in this!
We will definitely make the trip again and again to enjoy the beer, food and excellent staff! Be sure you do also!
