Trooper Thorn’s – Shillington, PA
Trooper’s has a number of things going for it – the beer selection is just one of them!
It has a great location for us since it is right off of the Thun Trail, which is a biking trail running through the region. We like to go for a ride then stop in for a drink or 2 after. The tapped selection is generally fairly good (our last visit we were able to grab a few Leffe’s…yummmmm) and the fridge at the end of the bar houses an impressive selection of bottles as well. You can always grab a SkullSplitter if nothing on tap catches your eye. The theme is very British/Irish Pub, which you will notice immediatly upon entering. The food is also themed as such, so if you like Sheppherds Pie, bangers n mash or Fish n chips, you are at the right spot! They also have outdoor seating with a pretty large bar, but we wish it was open earlier in the day (opens at 4pm). Definately a spot to visit if you are ever in our area, add it to your must-do list!
