Union Jacks – Boyertown, PA
An out of the way place with an elite beer selection!
After a few trips, we MIGHT be able to now find it without the GPS. In the back country of Boyertown, PA you will find this place – apearing out of the woods and just along the Manatawny River. The draft selection is awesome and the bottle list is even better! We estimate there is 200 or so offerings. Indoor seating is a bit dark with a few TV’s and a moderate sized bar. There is an outdoor area also, but we have never sat outside. Now…there is a problem! They DO NOT TAKE CARDS! Seriously, its not the 80’s…everyone takes cards now! They do have an ATM in the bar, but of course it was out of service last time we were there. So….Jason had to drive back thru the woods and around a detour to get some cash. This is just plain unacceptable and puts a big bruise on the face of a place with awesome potential. Either way – its cool, has a ton of offerings and without a doubt worth the confusing drive. Put it on the list!

Hey Jason and Lyssa!!! Great site!! I love it. I can’t wait for you guys to write a review of the Northeast Taproom. One thing about this site that I was unsure of….I heard that this place does not take cards, but in the review it says they do not take cash. I’m assuming this was supposed to say they do not take cards. I figured it was just a typo, but I wanted to let you know to prevent any confusion. Great site and keep up the great job.
