Bube’s is an interesting place. The bar is always really dark and sometimes I think the bar stools are going to break. The outside is nice but they need to do something about the flies, they are bad every time we go there. They brew their own beer and they also have other good selections on tap. The food is consistently pretty good with a good selection of unique and well constructed sandwiches. Last time we went Lyssa was kind of irritated at the one bartender. They have wraps but none of them sounded good to her so she asked for one of the other sandwiches to be in a wrap instead of the roll and the waitress said “no, we don’t do that”. How hard is it to use a wrap instead!?!??!?!?? Its not like they don’t have wraps! The other male bartender was very good and got everyone their drinks very quickly! Its a unique spot for sure, the beers are pretty good for such a small batch production, and you need to explore all of the rooms and caverns. Definitely worth a trip!

I went to their murder mystery dinner event and it was a lot of fun. I also took a tour of the catacombs. This brewery was definitely one of the most historical and interesting places I’ve been. If you guys haven’t been to one of their dinner events, you should go!
Thanks for the info Cindy! We have never been to the dinner with actors – do they bother you or is it actually entertaining and they keep to themselves? You are right about the place though, it is definately unique. Think we will need to take a drive out there sometime. Hope to hear more updates form you soon!
